Wevio, web solution, design & development company based in New York City was selected as the key vendor to the Small and Medium Business Corporation (http://www.sbc.or.kr/sbc/eng/main.jsp). The Small & medium Business Corporation (SBC) is a non-profit, government-funded organization established to implement government policies and programs for the growth and development of major Korean SMEs (Small and Medium Businesses). Wevio will be contributing to the business development, branding, and all online marketing efforts of the SMEs under SBC, and as their “global brand development” agency, it will be a significant collaboration. This is the first time a foreign company was selected.
Wevio was established in 1998, and now operating in 3 offices worldwide with a client base of 1500+. Some of the services offered are website and ecommerce development, content management solution, SEO and online marketing. Calvin Yi, Wevio CEO says, “It shows that Wevio has good technology and capability. We’re planning to expand and in the midst of setting up our Korea Branch as we speak.”

Wevio, a company located in New York, takes part in an abroad brand development project for Korean companies. Selected as the key agency for the business development of global companies in the US market, they will be involved in mostly the international brand strategy area.  Directly supported by the Korean SBC (Small & medium business corporation), they will be serving the many companies under their umbrella –mostly exporting companies that need the international exposure to their brand.

Calvin Yi, who is Wevio’s CEO, said “This is the first time that a foreign company was selected for this project. It shows that Wevio has the technology and ability.”
