The number of mockups, revisions and pages will differ depending on the contract you’ve signed. If you purchased a website with minimal mockups and revisions, our designers will be extremely careful not to waste it on a minor change. So when a designer asks that you be as detailed as possible, we don’t mean to bother you! We just want to save you time and money on unnecessary corrections. If we spend the time in the beginning, everything else is smooth sailing.
HOMEPAGE DESIGN
A few days after your kickoff meeting, you will receive your first mockup design for your homepage. Everything you’ve discussed in the kickoff meeting along with a few ideas that may develop from the designer’s side will be implemented on the first mockup. We will send you this mockup via the Discussion Board (mentioned in the Getting Started page) and you will provide us with as much feedback as possible.
Depending on how many revisions your contract states, after the mockup, the revisions will follow a few days after.
SUBPAGE DESIGN
Once the homepage is 100% confirmed in writing, we will move onto the subpage design. Again, the number of pages for your subpage design will be determined in the sales stage so the promised pages will be delivered to you following the same procedure as the homepage design.
FLASH DESIGN
If you’ve purchased a flash banner for your homepage, we will start the flash storyboard mockup after both the homepage and the subpage designs are confirmed.
