If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many words is Flash worth?

Some things are just hard to explain with words. Like teaching someone how to tie their shoes. Instead of telling them, why not just show them. Flash animation does just that. And it makes it look good while doing it.

For example, when one of our clients Todd Cohan, owner of Controlmobile.com first came to us, he had a clear goal in mind but had difficulties explaining his business to us. After spending some time understanding his business, we realized our biggest challenge was not in the design. It was actually to explain this business to the rest of the world in terms simple enough for them to understand with just one glance at his website. It wasn’t something that could’ve been done even with the best copy. Flash was the perfect tool to do this. By combining movement of text and pictures that users can interact with, we explained a two page book report on the technology of text message archiving in just 3 to 5 seconds.
